School History
Purely a girls school and off shoot of Gbaja Girls High school ,Surulere The school was formally opened by the first Executive Governor of Lagos State,Alh.Lateef Jakande on Monday 7th July 1980, However, Gbaja Girls Senior High School came to existince during the tenure of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed,the then Governor of the state . The school started with 30 classrooms, today the schoo has only 9 classrooms. Presently construction of 17+1 classroom block is going on in the school by the present administration of his excellency Governor Babatunde Fasola. Both the senior and Junior are all in the same compound ,and manned by different principals while Mrs. Falua in charge of Gbaja Girls Senior High School
