School History
Government Senior College Lagos Eric Moore was established on 27th Sept. 1974 by brigadier General Mobolaji Johnson the then military Governor of Lagos state. Admission into the school was strictly by merit through common entrance conducted by the state ministry of education. Emphasis was on science education and admission was for boys only. In Oct. 2002 the school was divided into Government Senior and Government Junior colleges in accordance with Lagos state policy. Ever since then the school has lunched herself into international link through British council connecting classrooms.
