School History

The school was named after a club in Breadfruit Church to which mothers of the ladies thought it fit to found a secondary school for girls only .The Club was New Era Club and the school was founded in 1948. among such ladies were Mrs. Remi Doherty ,Mrs. Bucknor and Mrs. Alade .later on some other well meaning ladies were brought in the school .First started in Taiwo Street in Lagos and Lady Ademola was the first principal .The school later moved to Idi Oro then to Bona College compound in Yaba and finally to its present site at 39 Ogumola Close Surulere.The present Principal is Mrs. Agbe davies A.A.
