School History
Baruwa Home Economics Centre was established in Jan. 1984 under Surulere school management commission later cut off and be under Mushin School management Commission now L.G.E.A Mrs. B.A. Adesola (Retired) was first Teacher in the centre during that time seven Primary schools was in attendance in the centre. Later Late Mrs. Vwenagha was transferred to the centre as the headteacher. Mrs. F.O. Oyawoye was transferred to the centre on 3rd of March 1997 from Ebute meta west as the headteacher. The centre now having four teaching staff and two non teaching staff with headteacher in person of Mrs. F.E. Ojebode now only Baruwa Pry School is in attendance with large population. The centre has made some historical improvement in terms of excellent in theoretical and practical skills the pupils acquire and display at the end. They have won merit award came 2nd position in year 2002. The centre have been face some set back in terms of no enough classrooms equipments long benches and tables are needed. Renovation of the centre windows, ceiling and doors.

We want our children to be useful to the nation and to the society To equipped the centre with necessary equipments to enable the children achieve their goals To develop the centre to the level that they can compete with any centre in the nation. The centre should be great.

  • To Supply equipment and furniture e.g. Long Benches and tables
  • Renovation of the centre wall, floor and windows
  • More Classrooms
  • Refrigerator Sewing machine, freezer and laundry equipment.
  • Government should supply all the necessary equipment for the smooth running of the school.
