School History

The school was founded on the 6th January ,1959. The motto is knowledge is power, the school was sited at Idi Oro,just behind the famous Idi Oro market . The school experienced flood which made the school environment un conducive .As a result of that ,on the 13th October,1995 , the school was moved to present site at No. 13 Akin Baruwa Street ,Surulere under Mushin Local Government .On 26th July ,200, primary 3 wall collapsed and three pupils injured ,one the pupils died ,Aina Sogunro.Lagos State primary Education Board promised to construct a new building and fulfilled thier promise on the 12th January,2001 >Mr. M.A.Fujah ,executive Chairman of SPEB gave the school 65 benches and desks . The school was changed from Folami To Aina Sogunro Memorial Priy School in memory of the late pupils
