School History
The school was founded in the year 1948 by Mrs Comfort Duro Orike Parkinson .It started as a coaching class(Lesson) at St. Peters Church at Paul Okuntola Street, Mushin. The school started with the population of 10 pupils both boys and girls under the headship of Mr. M.O. Balogun .Owing to yearly increase in enrollment, the building could no longer accommodate them ,hence the school moved to its permanent site at No 13/ 17 Ilasamaja Rd,Mushin on Aug. 5, 1958 Through the hardwork of the staff and the founder ,the school was absorbed by the then Association of Proprietors .The school was taken over by the Lagos State Government in 1979. It is important to note that Alafia Oluwa Primary School is now 65years in existence
