School History
Dosumu Primary School Eleja Itire, was founded on the 14th day of Oct. 1981. The school was named after the street and a Philanthropist Mr. Dosumu, the school was set up in order to ease the overpopulation existing in the four schools here then, and to give the children an all round educational development physically, mentally and socially. The School had a population of 794 pupils. The school had eighteen pioneer teachers redeployed from other schools in Eleja School compound. The performance of the First School Leaving Certificate Examination had been excellent . The current headteacher of the school is Mrs. I.A. Adeleye
