School History

Muslim Mission Primary School, 44 Sokunbi Street was established in the year 1946. Her former site was at Alhaji Lasisi Street, Idi-Oro, Mushin. The School was founded by Alhaji Lasisi Amodu. After brief stay at Idi-Oro, the founder moved the school to her present site in 1967. The school was officially recognized as a grant aided school by the Lagos Education Officer in 1948. The school started with about thirty-six pupils of primaries one and two. The school later expanded to about one thousand five hundred pupils. Due to accommodation problem, the school was running three shifts of primaries one to six each with teachers numbering about sixty four. Since inception the school has turn over thirty head teachers have worked there. The school has turned out notable personalities in different sphere of educational attainment. Presently, the school headteacher is Mrs. Duruike C.E with about 340 school population 20 teaching staffs and four non-teaching staffs.
