School History
Festac Girls Senior Secondary School was established on the 6th January 2003. It was formerly known and addressed as Festac Girls Secondary School which was established on the 14th September 1981 with Mrs B. M. Obachina as the first principal. The school commenced in 1981 with nine (9) teachers, one (1) non - teaching staff and initial student population of four hundred and fifty (450). As at today, as Festac Girls Senior Secondary School the population is over five hundred (500). The school has witnessed a lot of progress and achievements in all areas.

To have a well equipped craft & skill acquisition room for students. To have a well equipped ICT room where students can have computer to themselves during lesson. To have a well demarcated and conclusive guidance & counselling room.
