The school was founded in Aug. 1980 at the present location. The first name given to the school was Afijalo Grammar school , later change to community Grammar school . Today the school is popularly known as Ewutuntun senior grammar school. The first principal of the school was Mrs. O.A Odejimi while the current principal is Mrs Iyiola S.T.
