Our Mission Statement

To make Ikotun jnr. high school students to be of high standard academically and worthy of emulation within the neighbourhood and in the state.

School History

Ikotun Jnr. High Sch., Ikotun was founded on 12th Oct. 2009. The pioneer principal is Mrs E.O. Omoyibo. The school has a population of 237 students and seventeen teachers.The school has grown today to a population of 1150 and a teaching staff of 30 teachers and 2 non teaching staff. It has 9 physical classroom for students and 2 staff rooms for teachers. The school is however blessed with intelligent and dedicated staff including the Principal, Vice principal and law abiding students.

Future Plans for the School

Is to intensify actions and put pressure on the state government to provide a 17 + 1 building with science laboratory, Library and Computer rooms to the school, however, within the nearest future, the school is planing to improvise a mini laboratory for the students.
