School History
Tin-can island jnr. High sch,Tolu was established on 6th Jan. 2003 sequel to the separation of the junior sec. sch. from the snr. sec. schools. The pioneer Principal was Mr.j.A Oyinloye. There were 8 teaching and 1 NTS at inception. The school had one dilapilated block of 6 classrooms and one administrative block comprising of the principal's, vice principal's office a small staff room and a mini hall used for external exam. The current principal Mrs. F.O. Ajogbansile was posted to the school on 12th Jan. 2009 . There are 201 male and 224 female students in the school this 2009/10 session with 14 teaching staff and 2 NTS. The old block of classrooms was demolished in sept. 2009 to give room to a new block (storey Building) of 12 classrooms being constructed by SUBEB
