The school was established on 7th sept. 1981 , the school was originally called community sec. school 1 but later change to this present name in Dec.2002, the school was split into two autonomous schools namely ;- Unity snr sec. sch.and Unity jnr sec. sch. Though the schools share the properties of the mother school , some historical records like adminssion registers are kept by unity snr sec. school.
