MAY DAY COLLEGE is a two-arm educational college with a clear mission to provide high quality education fortified with discipline and service, all for sound development of individual student.

School History

The school started operation at its temporary site 12, Adebisi close surulere on the 27TH NOV. 1995 and was given approval to operate on the 29TH FEB. 1996 by the Private Education and Special Programme Dept. of the Ministry of Education, Alausa Ikeja. The school moved to its permanent site at Ipori Housing Estate Surulere on the 15TH SEPT. 1997. A full scale recognition inspection for Junior secondary certificate Examination (JSCE) was carried out by the Inspectorate Division of the Ministry of Education Alausa Ikeja on the 17TH DEC. 1996 and approval was given to the college on the 29/02/96. Approval was also given to the college to present her students for the West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination from year 2000. The school also present students for NECO JSCE and SSCE, also added the International Cambridge Certificate of Secondary Education(IGCSE) into its curriculum.
