Zamratul Islamiyyah was established by a muslim organisation known as Zumratul Islamiyyah Society, Lagos. Nigeria in 1927. It is a co-educational school sited at 2, Tawaliu-bello street, Ita Akanni. The government took over the school in 1972.

Future Plans for the School

The Lagos state government should as a matter of urgency make all schools computer literate. Electricity should be a compultion where all educational gadget could be adequately effective public schools should be well furnished so as to enhance learning and the private pupils will equally be attracted. To increase the population of the school by doubling the standard of the school population and creating more awareness in the sorrounding environment
