School History

MARYWOOD PRIMARY SCHOOL Formerly Mount Camel Convent School ebute metta (west). The proposal of the School structure came to being in January 1955 due to collapsed of addition classrooms of the same School at east which claim some workers life. The landed property was bought by the Roman Catholic Mission, but the two block of the buildings were put up by the Federal Government of Nigeria. Officially, Pupils and teaching staff moved down to the site in May 1957. Rev Sister Malachy was the first principal to central the two Schools therefore the same records were kept for them.
