School History
The school was founded on Monday Sept.1 1975 by the 4th infantry division education branch of the Nigerian Army through the efforts of the Division Education Officer Lt. Col. Peter Obasa with the co-operation of the commanding officer of the military Hospital Yaba Col. DR. M.A.T. Ajao The school was officially opened on monday 15th Sept. 1975 by the Brigade Education Officer Capt. I.O Odewale. The school took off with 311 pupils (16 boys and 148 girls) under 9 teachers including the headteacher Mr. Ogunji. There were no permanent school building erected, the military hospital authorities offered the school the free use of two of their wards which were partitioned into 8 very large classrooms. The Lagos state Goverment gave the school approval and recognition in Nov.1976 and 1978 the school was transferred to the state government.
