School History

Oriwu Senior Model College was founded 29th May 1949. The College was founded to cater for the secondary education of the community. On the 6th of June 2000, a plague was uneved by his excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu. which renamed Oriwu Model College. Now Jnr & Snr secondary, it is the premier school of Ikorodu division, reprited for high academic performance, producing eminent personalities. The school is a pacesetter in maintaining discipline in all perspectives.The school had won many laurels and awards in both in curricula and co curricular activities .The school is current champion of Lagos State Schools' debate
