School History

The families of Amusa and Mosin Gege gave out that portion of land situated at the outskirts of the town to the villagers to build public primary School. Local Authority Pry School School, Igbologun (Snake Island was established in Jan. 10th 1952 and was then known as A.D.C. School (Amori District Community School) The name of the school was later changed to L.A. School, Igbologun. Snake Island. The first teacher and the only teacher by then was Mrs. R.S. Sadiku with a population of about 35 pupils.
