Our Mission Statement

Our mission is to give young boys and girls an opportunity to obtain the necessary basic education in a conducive environment. To imbue in them, the necessary skills and knowledge to partake and contribute to the development of our society.

School History

The School started as the afternoon section of Anwar-ul-Islam College Agege on 24th September, 1979 and named Oniwaya High School. The School was being run by the Lagos State Government until it was handed over to Anwar-ul-Islam Movement of Nigeria on 2nd October 2001, by the then civilian Governor Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Since then the school is being ran as private school. The school had been able to satisfy all the taxonomy of education by ensuring all domains of education are balanced to provide qualitative education. On the 14th January 2007, the Movement unanimously approved the change of the name of the school to BAKRE DISU OSHODI MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL to immortalize one of the founding fathers of the Movement.
