Our Mission Statement

Excellence through hard work is a task that must be accomplished in the school. Pupils must be conscious of the fact that an enabliing society comes through hard work in education that brings excellence.

School History

The School was established by the then western regional government of Nigeria on 17th Jan 1955 during the time of free education scheme. It was carved out of the Local Authority Primary school Ajara. The School was initially called Egun-Awori District Council School 2, Ajara but later change to Gbenopo (meaning Unity). The School has seven classrooms with dilapidated rooms to accommodate one thousand eleven pupils. There were eighteen teaching staff and twenty one non-teaching staff in the school. The school had won many award both in local and state level, they have represent Lagos State in the regional and national level in sports, Cultural display, and JETS events. Many headteachers have gone through the school and the present headteacher is Mr. Ogunwole A. Adebayo.
