Apapa Pry School is one of the schools that emerged during the tenure of the former Gov. Jakande . The school earned different names at different times, at a time it was Baptist school 1b Marine Beach, at another time it change to Oniru Pry school before it finally stabilized to earn the name Apapa pry School in Sept. 26th 1980. According to history the school was founded on the 26th Sept. 1980
