Mrs. Tenebe was the first class teacher and later Mrs. Akapo joined her as class teacher. The centre operated for a short while and closed down during the time of Mr. Babagbemi who was the education Secretary in Mushin. His reason being that the centre around the zone are many. The centre was re-opened by Mrs. Coker during her own tenure as education secretary in Mushin L.G.E.A. Mrs. J N. Adige who majored as Home Economics both in NCE and B.ED was redeployed to the centre as a class teacher in the centre but under Itire Pry School. Five schools were allocated to the Centre, On 3rd of April 2007 the centre was elevated from Home Economics Centre to Community Vocational Centre. In addition to the primary duties the centre will now embrace the training of youths and adults around the community in different trades of their choice. The centre when in full operation will be training apprentices on Catering, Dressmaking, Tie and Dye, hair dressing, Barbing, Computer Training, GSM repairs and many more.
