School History
Arakan Barracks Nur/Pry School was established on 26th Nov. 1979. It was then known as Army Children School 3. It was carved out of Army Children School 2. The Headteacher as at the time of founding was Mr. L.A. Adelusi. The School was opened with a population of seven hundred and ninety-nine pupils, comprising of three hundred and eighty boys and four hundred and nineteen girls. There were twenty arms of classes managed by twenty teachers. The headteacher made the total number of pioneer teachers to be twenty one. On 4th Feb. 1981 MrsB.U. Okoye replaced Mr. L.A. Adelusi as the headteacher. In Jan. 1982 the school was transferred from Lagos ialand SMB to Ajegunle/Apapa SMB. The incubent headteacher makes the 6th headteacher in the school since inception.
