School History

Lagos state Model nursery and Pry School, Olusosun was formerly known as Family Support Women as Formerly Support Program me (FSP)Nursery /Primary School, Olusosun was one of the five schools established by the Lagos State first lady Mrs Munirat Marwa.FSP Nur/Pry School Olusosun was commissioned on 27th October ,1998.The School session effectively took on 26th Aprill 1998 with three teachers and one non teaching. The school Population was 12 pupils with five boys and seven girls The first headteacher of the school was Mrs. V.T Ojo. At inception , the school was been supervised by the Ministry of Women Affairs and poverty Alleviation Secretariat, Alausa. The new Headteacher is Mrs. S.F Odugbesi, with 21 teaching staff and 19 non teaching. The present population of the school is 313 with 171 boys and 142 girls .It was later transferred to state Primary Education Board, Maryland on 28th December 1999 by Chief Oluremi Tinubu
