School History

Olokun Primary School I, Ilasamaja was formerly called Ire-Akari primary school III. The School is situated at 7/9 Godwin Omonua street Ilasamaja in October 1980, Olokun Pry. School was carved out from both Ire-Akari Pry. Sch.I and II. The first Headteacher of the School was Late Mrs. C.I Obisan. She started with Thirteen (13) teaching staff. The School "Motto"is WORK AND PRAY". The School population is increasing tremendously year by year. This was taken into consideration and SPEB built a block to accommodate the population growth.
