School History
Gbagada Senior Grammar School was carved out from the afternoon session of the then National College of Commerce, Bariga on the 26th September, 1980 as National College School II. The school which took off with a student population of 1,065; 37 teaching and 3 non-teaching staffs subsequently had its name changed to Community High School, Gbagada in February, and later to Gbagada Grammar School in 1984. It added the title "Senior" to its name when in 2001. The school was converted to Senior Secondary for S.S.I, II and III students only due to change in government policy. Nine Principals have headed the school from inception.
