School History

S.S. Peter & Paul Primary was founded in January, 1955 by the Catholic Mission Church. The church continued to maintain it physically and financially until it became grant-aided by the old western, government of Nigeria. Then, the school later named after the patron Saint S.S. Peter and Paul. The first recorded Headteacher In 1958 Was Mr. B.O. Joseph while the manager was Rev. Father Sanusi. The first P.T.A. Meeting took place in May 1965. The parents introduced the use of school uniform in 1967. In October 25th, 1976 the school was divided into two by the Ministry of Education. That is School I & School II because of the increasing population and for more effective learning. From 1958 till date, the school had been managed by thirteen (13) headteachers including the current headteacher Mrs. C.A. Otusanya.
