School History
Methodist Primary School Osodi, is the mother of all public primary schools in Osodi. The school was established in the year 1924,, its location is No 42, Osodi Rd, Osodi. The School started with the population of 64 pupils with three teachers Mr. D.A Euba, Mr. J.A Awobona and Mr. T.A. Okeneye. The School was accommodated in a small church before the school was built. As time goes on the population increased to 1000, the School has to be split into three (3) Schools, School I, II & III. Methodist remains School I, Wesley School II, and Ideal Primary Osodi School III. As at how the school population is 596 including ECCDE. The Staff strength is 34. 22 teaching staff and 12 non-teaching staff. The School has 3 blocks of 16 classroom, an administrative block and modern toilet.

Future Plans for the School
My plane for the school is to turn the school to be one of the best Primary School in Lagos State. Also to develop the pupils in three (3) domains cognitive, Pycho motor and affective. My plan is to try my best to bring back the lost glory in Government Public Schools by embarking in orientation among the pupils and teachers so that the public will have trust and pride in the school.
