School History

Local Authority Primary School Ijagemo (a co-educational) was established in 1955. The school was ealier started by the effort of the community in 1945 with only one teacher and some pupil in the three classroom built with raffia and mud. These three classroom were later rebuilt by Ojo Local Government, On the 26th Feb. 2005, the three classrooms were rendered completely uninhabitable by the violent storm. The school was later rebuilt with six modern classroom by the Lagos State Government universal Basic education Education Board under the chairmanship of Alhaji Mukadash Fuja. The School has total population of 251 pupils; male 123, female 128. Number of teaching staff 9, male 2, female 7, Non-teaching staff 8 male, female 3
