School History
The School was formerly Methodist School III. On the 16th December 1980 it was given a new name as Express way Primary School II with 27 classes Mr. Z.A. Ogunbanbo was the Headteacher of Expressway Primary School II Oshodi came into existence on first of January 1981 by deshifted fourteen classes and fourteen teachers from Methodist Primary School II, Oshodi and three classes with three teachers. The School is situated on a portion of land, which is always flooded for this reason Government decided to build prototype building. At the time the building were being put up the school was deshifted to New State Primary School in the S.M.C Compound Oshodi. In March 1987 the name of the school was changed to Ola-Oluwa Primary School with the Population of 973 pupils then, in November 1986 the school was changed from State Primary School to Ideal Primary School which is located at Adewale Crescent by Oshodi/Mile 2 Expressway Oshodi. As at today 11th September 2006 the name of the School remains as Ideal Primary School Oshodi.
