Our Mission Statement
The objectives of the school is to bring out ability from disability. To make the pupils independent to some extent. To discourage the pupils from begging in future. To integrate the pupils into the society. To create public awareness that pupils with disabilities are useful and can contribute to the society. To carry out Government policy on education.
  
School History
The school was established in June 1956 within the National Orthopedic Hospital Ward in the physiotherapy department by the Red Cross Society who named it Royal Orthopedic Special School, though it was a small unit attached to the ward with few pupils, as time went by, it was turned to a full fletch school. The school comprises of children with mental retardation, some with multiple problems and others with physical disability as a result of accident. The Lagos State Government took over the school since 1976. Funding and running of the school has been taking care of by the state government since then.
