School History

Folaranmi Primary School, Oshodi, formerly called Anifowose Pry. School was shifted from the former Mushin L.G.Primary School, Sogunle on the 3rd of Oct., 1980. Her population was 1066 pupils for 24 classes. She had Thirty-three (33) Teachers and Six Non-teachers. The name Folaranmi was derived from the market in Folaranmi Market because Chief Akerele of Sogunle gave part of the market land to be used for school and so the name. Presently the population reduced greatly to 280 pupils. Folaranmi gave birth to Agewu Pry. School in 1981/1982 session
