School History

Owoseni Pry. School was carved out from Oshodi Model Pry. School, Osodi, on the 11th May, 1992 due to large population. The School commenced operation on 1st of June, 1992, it was named after a community leader Alhaji Chief Yusuf Owoseni (the baale of Osodi). The first headteacher was Mrs. V.A. Adewumi, the population of the pupils then was One Thousand Two Hundred and Four (1,204) both boys and girls, Fourteen teachers male and female.

Future Plans for the School

We need new equipment e.g White Board, Electronic Interactive board to teach the pupils to fit in an egalitarian society. We also need standard library to help the pupils be up to date in getting information which will develop the pupils in three domains cognitive, effective and psycho-motor domains. To develop the three domains -Cognitive, Affective, and psychomotor through the use of Computer, interactive board and well equipped library
