School History

Apelehin Primary School was founded on 26th September, 1980. The school was formerly a private school called Dele Nursery and Primary School. The Proprietor was Chief Ayo Odugbesan. It was at 30/32 Salami Street Oworonsoki. He handed over the school to government on 26th September, 1980. The first headmaster was Mr. T.A. Buari. The second headteacher was Mfr. A.O. Adeyemi. The school moved to the new site on the 11th January, 1981 at 13-15 Sofunwa Street, Apelehin with pupils and teachers. The first P.T.A. Chairman was Chief Ope.
