School History

Oshodi Primary School, Oshodi, was formerly known as Afolabi Institute School II. It emerged from Afolabi Institute School II. The land was given to Afolabi Primary School by Alhaji Afolabi in 1947. Mr. E.K. Akala acted as the first Headteacher from January 1980 to August 1981. Mrs. D.A. Okuwoga became the headteacher of the School from September, 1981 to Dec. 2nd 1981 to 30th Sept. 1990. Mrs. Akinola R.A the assistant headteacher Managed the School from September 1990 to Sept. 1991. Mrs. J.O Bello became the headteacher from Sept. 1991 and retired on the 31st December 1997. Mrs. Aina the assistant Headteacher took over from her in January 1998 to April 1998. Mrs. Anyira became the headteacher from April 1998 to January 2000. Mrs. Olafeinde became the headteacher from January 2000 to Sept. 2007. Mrs. A.Y Olajide took over from her on the 28th of September 2007 and she is currently the headteacher of the school now.
