School History

School was founded 26th September, 1980. Initially known as Abule Okuta Primary School, now called Adeife Sodipo Akindeko Memorial Primary School. The school situated at 71, Odunsi Street, with an annex at 10, Odunsi Street Bariga. The first headteacher was Mrs. E.M. Oyekan. The school won a lot of award over the years academically. Two of the school pupils won scholarship awards into Green Springs School, Anthony and Yaba College of Technology staff school;. The first P.T.A Chairman was late Alhaji Ikobayo. The school population is 831, male 414 and female 417. Staff population 36, teaching 19 and non-teaching 17. The current headteacher is Adelana O.O. Mrs.
