School History

The school local government Primary school Igboye was sited at Igbodila street, Igboye in the year 1942 in the year 1945 the central school was founded at Eredo central school to house the V.E School was the pupil has to read their primary IV - VI and obtained their primary six school leaving certificate. It was then temporarily managed by the Roman catholic mission. In 1955, it was named local authority school (L.A School) and the pupils had to read their primary I - Vi obtained their certificate under the leadership of Mr.A.B. Adebowale. All Local Government was then headed to the state government and the school were renamed Local Government school
