School History

The school was founded in 1956 by Pa Ajiborisha the Ibon community leader who worked diligently to see that children received primary education. Pa Ajiborisha worked very well to put in place school in Ibon village. He built the school with bamboo while the first teacher who taught in Ibon school was Mrs Abeni Ajiborisha the wife of the community leader. Currently the government has rebuilt the school with Jakande building but water and light facilities were not put in place. The school was not fenced and no staff quarter
