School History
Isheri Senior Grammar School was founded on Friday 26th September, 1980 with a principal named Mrs. E.O. Adeleye and two teaching staffs. Sixty one students mainly "Form one." were admitted. The school magazine called "The Comet" was launched on 17th July 1987, also the school received the best "neatest school" for 1987. Isheri Senior Grammar School came into existence when Lagos State schools were split into Junior and Senior Schools in January 6, 2003 with current students population of 1,050 and teaching staff strength of 54.
