School History
The school was founded on the 7th of September, 1981 during Alhaji Lateef Jakande regime as governor of lagos state. The school began from pentagon grammar school compound at Oyingbo before relocating to its present site. The school has won many awards including 2011 governor's award by governor Babatunde Raji Fashola. The school is highly rated in cultural activities, debating and drama. It started with 244 students in number with the pioneering principal, in person of late Mr.Z.A.Apata who was succeeded by Mr. S.O.Afolabi since it inception, six principal had headed the school before Mrs. Balogun R.S. who is the current Principal. The students population is 765 at present.The students are well nurtured and disciplined. The school's name is not among the street fighters. The school's colour is purple and green.
