School History

THE SCHOOL WAS FOUNDED ON THE 7TH FEBRUARY, 1981 UNDER THE THEN EBUTE METTA/YABA SCHOOLS MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. THE LOCCATION OF THE SCHOOL AT THE TIME WAS IN THE PREMISES OF THE WETERN COLLEGE, YABA. AT THE INCEPTION OF THE SCHOOL, THE SCHOOL HAD A TOTAL OF 246 STUDENTS IN FORM ONE GROUPED INTO SIX ARMS. THEN THE SCHOOL HAD ONE MEMBER OF STAFF, MRS N. EYOH AND LATER MRS. M.E. EYIEYIEN. THE FIRST PRINCIPAL WAS MRS. G.O. KALEJAIYE WHO ASSUMED DUTY ON THE 16TH SEPTEMBER, 1981. THE SCHOOL MOVED TO LAGOS STREET OKO BABA ON THE 20TH APRIL, 1982, ON THE 14TH OCTOBER 1982, THE SCHOOL STARTED OPERATION AT THE PERMANENT SITE
