School History
The school was established on 31st January, 1949. It started as a vocational institute with an enrollment of 28 boys, 1 girl with 3 teachers. On 31st of October 1949, children were enrolled for infant class. The examination for the first set primary school leaving certificate was held on the 19th of October, 1955 while 24 of the pupils passed. The parents of the above named school had contributed very well to the general welfare of the school had contributed very well to the general welfare of the school. Since then on the school grew from strength to strength until it gets to the present status.
