The mission of the centre is to demonstrate and promote the essential role of the arts and crafts. To promote Art education through modern educational tools, advancement of knowledge, and subsequently resulting in self reliance.

This institution is a centre of creativity that involves art works and artists. It was established on the 2nd October, 2007 located at New Oko-Oba Primary School Complex through the Educational Secretary in person of Dr. W.A. Ipaye and his cabinet. H.O.S School Services, Mrs. P.O. Ofodile. H.O.S Personnel Mrs. A.A. Coker and H.O.S Planning, Mrs. O.A. Arenrin.
