School History

The school could be traced to former African School II A which was divided into African School II A and II B on the 6th of October, 1980. Both School are located in the present location of Cardoso Primary School On 3rd of March 1983, African School II B was renamed Cardoso Primary School Awodi-Ora under the headship of Mr.J.O.Adeyemi .The population of the school was seven hundred seventy three with the staff strength of 24. The school had one traditional block of twelve classrooms and two blocks of Jakande block as at the time of renaming. On the 5th April 1998, Mrs.D.N.Okorie became the new Headteacher of the school ,then Mrs Okeowo R.O is now the current headteacher of the school
