School History
Igbologun Senior Secondary School was created out of the existing Igbologun Secondary School, Snake Island. On 6th January 2003. Mrs Ogini M. K and Mrs Oduwole P. O. started the school as Principal and Vice Principal respectively with Nine (9) other teaching Staff Members and Four (4) Non Teaching Staffs. Today, the school is headed by Mrs Oke F. O. and Mr M. O. Sanni is the Vice Principal. There are 12 other Staff Members including teaching and non teaching.

The school should be able to compete with Unity Schools within and outside the Country. Acquisition of Scholarships from International Organisations by Students. Produce Scholars and Intellectuals such as Doctors, Professors, Engineers and Creditable Future Leaders.
