School History

The School was founded in the year 1976 with only two teachers. The headteacher a teacher. The school started with 15 pupils but later increased as the year went by. The first set of primary six was 1980. According to records the school had 100% in their first Leaving Certificate Examination which was in 1981. But in recent time the school has dropped academically due to shortage of good teachers.
