School History
The name of the school is Saint Stephen Roman Catholic Mission Primary School Igbonla, Epe. The school is located along Ebute Road Igbonla, Epe. The school was founded on the 1st of January 1948. Late Chief L.S. Goodluck assisted in founding the school because he led the Isokos and Urobos committee members to seek the consent of the Rev. Father of the catholic mission. The name of the first teacher and also the headteacher was Late Fakomaya Tobosun. A few pioneer pupils of the school were Alhaji A.T Deola, Chief S.O Baleene, Mr. Jeremiah Oniemi, Mr.Ogunsano. Altogether the school had turned out a total population of one thousand five hundred pupil.
