School History
Initially the children of Odo-Egiri and Iroye Oke were attending Roman Catholic Mission school Odomola, but there came a misunderstanding between people of Odo-Egiri and Odomola. This led to separation of the school. The idea of having a school in Odo-Egiri was put across by Alhaji S.O Ogunleye in 1954. The community now sent two delegates to Ansar-un-Deen society at Lagos to discuss the issue of establishing school to Odo-Egiri town. The society order them to go back home and form association. This was done and the name of their society is called Alsalat. In every meeting they contributed one-one shilling. This money was used to make group photograph which was taken back to Lagos. After all these the people were given the go ahead but there was no financial support from the token they were contributing. They bought plots of land and through communal effort they built a block of five class rooms. The establishment of A.U.D Primary school was done on January 1st 1955. The first head teacher was Mr. S.O. Ogunleye
