School History

Mlate Comp. High School was formally founded on 4th of Oct. 2000, with eleven students in JSS 1 and 3 in JSS 2. It is purpose built building located on Doyin Omololu St. Ketu, The school has standard laboratories for the teaching of science, Home Economics, Intro Tech. Fine Art, Computer, Business Studies and a library . We offer subjects as approved by the state and other exam bodies and follow the national policy on education. Qualified experienced teachers and supporting staff are also in place all the time. The school was also formally approved in 2002 after a vigorous inspection. It presented the first set for the WASCE in 2005 and JSSCE in 2002. The school has been making a steady progress since then we encourage hard work, discipline and growth of individual talents. We also give a sound moral education. Many of the students are now in different institution of higher learning. The staff are not left out of providing training, mapout monitoring and evaluation and motivation. We also relate with the state and Fed.
